National Chocolates Day

World Chocolate Day, the holiday is celebrated every year on July 11. In addition, there is a world holiday of the same name, which is celebrated on September 13. Chocolate was first given to the Aztecs, who called it “food of the gods”, and the Spaniards, bringing it to Europe, called it “SJ gold”. July 11, International Chocolate Day, was adopted in 1995 and was first held in France. Events, competitions and festivals dedicated to this holiday take place on July 11 in some major cities of the Russian Federation, from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. In 2016, for the first time in Armenia, The LOFT hosted a chocolate festival. Along with World Chocolate Day, there are other more global holidays և sweeter dates dedicated to this product. In addition to World Chocolate Day, the United States celebrates two “National Chocolate Days” each year, one on July 7 and the other on October 28.
